III. What are the applications for A&I Online?

  3.1   Access a list of interstate carriers ranked according to their safety status

3.9 Review a specific state's traffic enforcement activity as compared to the total number of roadside inspections.

The Traffic Enforcement (TE) sub-module provides information about the commercial motor vehicle (CMV) Traffic Enforcement Program. The Traffic Enforcement Program is based on twenty-one state or local traffic enforcement violations noted in conjunction with a roadside inspection.

  1. Access the Program Measures module from the Main Menu.

  2. Click on the Traffic Enforcement sub-module from within the Program Measures Module.

    Access the TE sub-module from within the Program Measures Module.

  3. Click on the National Reports from within the Traffic Enforcement sub-module.

    Access the National reports from within the Traffic Enforcement sub-module.

  4. Click on the State Comparison reports from within the Traffic Enforcement sub-module.

    Access the State Comparison reports from within the TE module.

  5. The traffic enforcement activity summary report is the default report in the State Comparison area. Click on the total percent column to view traffic enforcement activity percent in relation to the total number of roadside inspections.

    Note: All reports in the State Comparison area allow for column sorting in ascending (arrow pointing up) or descending (arrow pointing down) order by clicking on the underlined text. The default sort is ascending order.

    The traffic enforcement activity summary report is the	default report in the State Comparison area.

  6. Click on the descending icon (arrow pointing down) to resort the column in descending order.

  7. View a specific state's traffic enforcement activity compared to all roadside inspections.

    TE activity in MA is 47.72% of all roadside inspections.

  8. Click on National Reports to see the traffic enforcement activity on a national level.

    TE activity on a national level was 25.2%.
