3.3 Access a specific carrier's safety fitness history

It is important to review the safety performance of carriers for the purposes of responding to a complaint, researching the carrier before conducting an on-site compliance review, reviewing the carrier's performance to understand what contributed to a high SafeStat score, or a host of other reasons. A&I Online provides the results of the previous SafeStat runs. The history information on a specific carrier can be accessed within SafeStat Online.

1. Access the SafeStat Online Module from the Main Menu.

2. Click on Carrier Detail Results from the SafeStat Module.

3. In the "Carrier Detail Results: Selection Form" enter the carrier's name. Select whether the name contains, starts with, or ends with your selection. To hasten your search, select from the location drop down menus, either "U.S. State" or "Outside U.S." Click the Search button.

4. From the list of carriers click on a carrier's name (underlined) to display the Carrier Overview screen. (This step is skipped if the search returned 1 result.)

5. Once on the Overview screen select the History button to display the carrier's safety fitness results for the current (monthly) run and the last five semi-annual runs.
